Free written quotes, fixed pricing agreed before work starts, and the rebates you qualify for applied up front.
How our pricing works
- Free assessment. For installation and replacement work we come out, measure the house and run a load calculation. No charge, no obligation.
- Written quote. You get a fixed price in writing, with the rebates you qualify for already deducted so the number you see is the number you pay.
- You approve before we start. Nothing gets opened up, removed or ordered until you have agreed the price.
- No surprises at the end. If something genuinely unexpected turns up mid-job, we stop and talk to you rather than adding it to the invoice.
What's included in an installation price
- The equipment and all materials
- Municipal and Technical Safety BC permits
- Removal and proper disposal of the old system
- Commissioning, testing and a handover walkthrough
- Manufacturer warranty registration
- Our workmanship warranty
Those last four are worth checking against any other quote you are comparing. They are not always included, and a price that leaves out disposal and permits is not really the lower price it appears to be.
Repair pricing
Repair visits carry a call-out and diagnostic charge, which we tell you about when you book. Once we have diagnosed the fault, you get the repair cost before we do the work — and if we think replacement is the better value, we will say so and show you why.
Reducing what you pay
Two things move the number meaningfully. BC rebate programs can take several thousand dollars off a heat pump installation, and financing spreads what remains — 0% financing for 12 months on approved credit. We apply both to the quote rather than leaving you to work it out.

Pricing questions
Why are there no prices listed on this page?
Because an honest number depends on your house. Square footage, insulation, existing ductwork, electrical capacity, access and the rebates you qualify for all move the figure substantially. A price range wide enough to be accurate would be too wide to be useful — so we quote on the actual job instead.
Is the quote free?
Yes. In-home assessments and written quotes for installation and replacement work are free and carry no obligation.
Do you charge a diagnostic fee on repairs?
There is a call-out and diagnostic charge on repair visits, which we tell you about when you book — never after. If you proceed with the repair, we discuss how that fee is applied.
Will the final invoice match the quote?
For quoted installation work, yes — the price is fixed unless you ask for a change or we find something genuinely hidden, like asbestos or unsafe wiring. In that case we stop, explain it and re-quote before continuing.
Do you price-match?
We won't always be the cheapest quote you get, and we'd rather be straight about that than pretend otherwise. What we will do is show you exactly what is in our price, so you can compare like with like — the equipment, the warranty, the permits, the disposal and who is doing the work.
